Our Tsavo East and Tsavo West National Park safari packages take you deep into two of Kenya’s most iconic wildlife reserves, famous for their breathtaking landscapes, rich wildlife, and thrilling game drives.
Starting from Malindi, you’ll journey through scenic countryside to the vast plains of Tsavo East National Park, home to the famous “red elephants,” lions, giraffes, zebras, and countless bird species. Then continue to Tsavo West National Park, where dramatic volcanic hills, lush oases like Mzima Springs, and incredible wildlife sightings await.
For travelers with limited time, we also offer short safaris to either Tsavo East or Tsavo West only, ensuring you can still experience Kenya’s wild beauty even on a tight schedule.
Whether you choose a combined East & West safari or a shorter single-park experience, expect up-close encounters with wildlife, stunning sunsets, and the thrill of the African bush—all guided by our professional team for an exceptional safari experience.
Package Itinerary
Day 1: Tsavo East
- Set out early through the picturesque Malindi – Sala Gate.
- Arrive in time for lunch.
- Afternoon game viewing.
- Visit Lugard’s Falls on Galana River to view the rapids.
- Visit the top of Mudanda Rock to view wildlife at the base.
- Visit Aruba Dam built in 1959 across the Voi River which attracts many animals and water birds.
- Return to camp /lodge for dinner and spend the night.
Day 2: Tsavo West
- Sister park to Tsavo East, separated by the Nairobi- Mombasa Highway.
- After breakfast a morning game view; tracking leopard, lion, buffalo and more wildlife.
- A visit to the Mzima Springs where you may see Hippos and Nile crocodiles.
- Return to the lodge or camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Tsavo West
- Return to Malindi or Watamu after breakfast while game viewing along the way.
- Stop over at Voi for lunch, later arrive at Malindi or Watamu late afternoon.
